Metal hose lines

Metal hoses or stainless steel corrugated hoses are flexible, mechanically robust conduit elements that are primarily used for the transport of liquids, gases or vapors. They are made of stainless steel and are characterized by a multitude of technical properties:

• High temperature resistance:
  Metal hoses can withstand both very high and very low temperatures – typically in the range of -269 °C to more than +600 °C.
• Pressure resistance:
  Thanks to their corrugated structure and, if necessary, additional braiding with wire mesh, metal hoses can withstand high operating pressures.
• Flexibility combined with stability:
  Metal hoses offer high flexibility without losing their dimensional stability. This makes them ideal for compact installations or flexible lines.
• Corrosion resistance:
  High-quality stainless steel materials ensure high resistance to chemicals, water, oils and other aggressive media.
• Tightness and safety:
  Metal hoses are gas-tight and therefore also suitable for the use in safety-relevant areas such as in the transport of flammable or toxic gases.
• Vibration and sound insulation:
  Due to their flexible structure, metal hoses can dampen vibrations and noise, which helps in the protection of connected equipment and the reduction of noise.
• Durability:
  The robust construction ensures a long service life, even under extreme conditions such as in vacuum systems, high-pressure systems or in exterior areas.
