Who are we?

Our services are performed at our factory in Mülheim an der Ruhr, which is at the cutting edge of technology. Our experienced staff will be happy to advise you on heat treatments suitable for your application. MGT is a flexible company that is happy to help you even at short notice. We would be happy to offer you a suitable transport solution for your order using our own fleet of vehicles.

150 °C – 1000 °C – In our production, everything is documented, from the material data to your specific wishes and requirements. Our four state-of-the-art furnaces were designed, built and commissioned within the Hatec Group. Equipped with the latest control technology, everything is verifiable and every step is digitally documented. In this manner, we can ensure that your workpiece always receives the correct treatment.

Mülheimer Glühtechnik GmbH was founded in 2001 in Mülheim an der Ruhr in Germany and specializes in heat treatments of metallic materials.

What is heat treatment?

Changes in material properties by means of corresponding annealing processes at temperatures up to 1,000 °C
The heat treatment is a process in which heat is used in a targeted manner to change the structure and properties of a material, e.g., steel, such as its hardness or toughness. By selecting a suitable temperature, dwell time and cooling process, the steel can be given exactly the properties you require for a specific application.

Our customer service

MGT is happy to offer you a full-service solution for your heat treatment. From the collection at your factory, through quality control, sandblasting, pickling, to the safe return transport of your order to your factory.
Transport

We are happy to assist you with the transport of your workpiece to and from our location using our own fleet of vehicles. We can often help you with the transport and delivery of your workpiece at short notice. Upon request, we can also arrange transport for our customers to
• sandblasting or
• pickling
Materials testing

We will arrange material tests for you in accordance with your requirements:
• Hardness measurements: HB, HV, HRC
• Neutral testing of all destructive and non-destructive methods: UT, PT, MT and RT
